The band manager provided us the photo which Arcie Castillo, parent organizer, used for this magnificent banner. Parent organizer Jun Espinosa first tried hanging it near the pergola, at the walkway from pergola to main admin building. But the strong winds blew the banner in all directions, & the main school welcome banner occupied most of the visual space, rendering the Hale banner virtually out of sight. Consequently, the collective decision was to post the banner just beyond the walkway to the canteen / gym, in direct view of anyone and everyone making their way there. Let's put it this way: if you were walking to the gym, you just had to see it. This was the best decision & was unanimously supported by school staff & parent organizers alike. Thanks to Janet Ocampo, who suggested that we make a banner to welcome the band.

Our Welcome Banner for Hale
